Earlier before Flare 2.0's *real* development period (specifically, before I decided to revamp the sprites rather than just reshade 1.x's), I felt like tinkering around on a redone Super theme for the mod. I eventually came back to it in February of this year (the track was originally planned as Theme of Narlok '21) and after some feedback, got to the version you hear here and in-game.

With that said, I present to you: Chaos Narlare's theme.

Anyway, hi! I've been working on this for a while, and I thought that it was in the best condition to upload. 
This is a Megalovania themed mainly around the night boss themes of Sonic Unleashed. I like this game quite a bit.
The leitmotifs are in order: Egg Dragoon, Perfect Dark Gaia, Night Battle Theme, VS Titan/Big Mother, Endless Possibility.

Seeing as it's the 10th anniversary of Sonic Unleashed/Sonic World Adventure, I figured I'd go back and update that Megalo I made... like, 5 months ago? Around that time. I'm hoping this one is much better than the previous.

hey remember when i actually used soundcloud?? haha those were good times

So yeah, it’s been forever, but school’s been… well, school. But hey, I learnt how to make semi-decent music that actually has a key, so I figured I’d go back and update this one last time.
Now there’s a few more day-related leitmotifs in here, so it actually (technically) covers all of Unleashed and not just the night side of the game.
The new leitmotif list is:
Lead: Egg Dragoon (unchanged)
Intro Piano: The World Adventure
Square: Endless Possibilities
Brass: Vs. Titan & Big Mother (unchanged)
Slow: ED/VT&BM (unchanged) with Tornado Defence in the back

Apologies for the hiatus. School's been taking my full attention and I haven't had enough time to get videos together. Oh, wait, I meant to say I procrastinated for the last few weeks of term and rushed out my assessments. Don't do that, kids. Don't be like me. There's, like, two weeks of term 4 for our year level too, so there's a good chance I won't be making any more music unless I get Logic on my laptop, so there's that.

But enough about that. I've been getting the hang of music making over this last term, most important of all, key. So I went back and tweaked my older tracks to sound a lot better by actually keeping them in key.  Of course, it's not just gonna be old tracks. New stuff is on the way too!

Something different for you guys today!

A lot of Mega Drive games have some really good soundtracks that sadly go unnoticed. While some of the music comes from its Japanese counterpart Puyo Puyo (which is perfectly fine mind you), the Mean Bean Machine soundtrack is really good, in particular the Exercise and 2P VS themes. I felt like doing something more intense and orchestral, fitting to this track's original, pre-MBM intention.

I didn't get around to making Narlok's art in time, whoops. I'll probably update the thumbnail once he's ready.

This is essentially the 'battle theme' for Narlok (and by extention, Flynn). There's a lot of Genesis and Sonic Rush elements in this, because while I was making this track my OCs' world was more Sonic-focused. Once I get my hands on Logic again I might take them out and see how that sounds. Maybe update it a little to fit Flynn and Narlok's themings better? Who knows, that's still a long way off. There's quite a bit of JoJo influence here too, mainly from Il Vento D'Oro and Stardust Crusaders.
