Astral projection (or astral travel) is an interpretation of an out-of-body experience (OBE) that assumes the existence of an "astral body" separate from the physical body and capable of travelling outside it. Astral projection or travel denotes the astral body leaving the physical body to travel in an astral plane. The idea of astral travel is rooted in common worldwide religious accounts of the afterlife in which the consciousness' or soul's journey or "ascent" is described in such terms as "an... out-of body experience, wherein the spiritual traveller leaves the physical body and travels in his/her subtle body (or dreambody or astral body) into ‘higher’ realms. It is frequently reported in association with dreams, and forms of meditation.

Patients have reported feelings similar to the descriptions of astral projection induced through various hallucinogenic and hypnotic (including self-hypnotic) means. There is no scientific evidence that there is any measurable manifestation of a consciousness or soul which is separate from neural activity, and there is no scientific evidence for the contention that one can consciously leave the body and make observations. Attempts to verify that such has occurred have consistently failed in spite of the variety of pseudoscientific claims to the contrary.

Timewarp presents a new release from InnerZone called The Inner Zone EP, we hope you enjoy the ride! Rei Albahari has been producing music since 2005 under the name "MadDoc". He has started his way around electronic music while co-producing & editing the Israeli radio show "BeatNik" (Brodcast on "Galey Tzahal" 2004-2006). After the show stopped Rei began to produce small parties & DJ sets around Israel, in 2008 forming the production "Ha'HaZit Ha'Amamit La'Trance", taking on promoting the GOA TRANCE & the Retro trend. "MadDoc" shows & DJ seta have been well known because of his unique sound and track selecting. Rei started producing music as InnerZone in 2011 and got his 1st release Analog Sunrise. Since then Rei released two E.P's and several tracks on compilations, remixed & collaborated with artist such as Astral Projection, Power Source, Radical Distortion, The Muses Rapt , Nervasystem and more. Astral Projection is an electronic musical group producing Psychedelic Trance and Goa Trance music based in Israel. They are considered to be one of the originators of their genre and one of the biggest acts on the scene. Its current members are Avi Nissim and Lior Perlmutter. Although the majority of their releases have been done through their own record company, Trust In Trance (which later merged with Phonokol), they have also released records with other labels including Transient UK, Nova Tekk Germany, Avex Japan, Blue Moon Taiwan, TIP World UK, Smart Records, Distance FR, Fairway FR, Why Not Records, Perfecto and many more. They Have had wide spread global support from big name DJ's and Bands such as Paul Oakenfold, Danny Rampling, John 00Fleming, Faithless, and many more. In addition to an extensive discography, the group has an extensive worldwide touring schedule.In 2009 Astral Projection was ranked no. # 67 in Djmag's top 100 dj's in the world ! Some History... A precursor to Astral Projection, ''SFX'', was formed in Israel in 1989 and originally consisted of Avi Nissim and Lior Perlmutter. They released a hit single in 1991 named ''Monster Mania'', which prompted them to start working on an album. Work was halted when they decided to travel to [[New York]] and try their luck there. While Avi soon went back home, Lior stayed in the (USA) and in 1992 released the single ''JBIE''. In 1993, with Lior still in the (USA), Avi teamed up with Yaniv Haviv and Guy Sabbag and they released the single ''Another World''. In early 1994, Lior returned to Israel to work on his own material with the rest of the members under their new label (Trust in Trance Records / Trust in Trance) . After this release, Guy decided to leave the group and the remaining members eventually changed their name to Astral Projection. They have produced eleven albums. The most recent album is 'Ten' which was released in 2004. Astral Projection have not released an album since 2004, though they have released several singles since then. Astral Projection's most well known tracks include hits such as ""Kabalah"", ""People Can Fly"", ""Mahadeva"" and ""Dancing Galaxy"" to name but a few.

One of my first edits from my library of found sounds: "Relaxing Rain and Loud Thunder" is designed as a brief intro into my perspective on contemporary field recording. This is actually a few different storms, recorded in different times in various places piled up on top of each other to create a uniquely soothing three and a half minutes.
