This track is dedicated to my Dad who passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Saturday, October 1st. He was 58.

I had originally meant this as a bonus track to be included in the tape release of Healer, and had named it Sleep Now because that's what the music made me think of. But since Saturday, both the track and the name have taken on a completely different meaning to me.

The photo is a polaroid selfie of him from the late 80's, when he was working the US with the hope of bringing my Mom and I over from Poland to North America.

What the hell is this?? It's the idea of Shepard Tones ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shepard_tone ), applied to rhythm. When you take a pulsating sound, and speed it up, eventually it becomes a frequency. You can do this with a delay pedal, where you turn the time knob down to 0. I wanted to make a pulsating sound that, when sped-up by a nice multiple (in this case, 5 times), is the same frequency as the original pulse. I had to introduce a second-degree pulse to make it seamless. I stacked a few octaves worth of this nonsense, and here you go.
