Convular EP

An experiment in harsh noise and sine tones within the constraints of scientific pitch.

Sinetific Noise

An experiment with drones, harmonics, percussive clicks and phase modulation. This track was composed, programmed and recorded entirely within the programming environment of Max 8.

Inner Ear Ring

The track is composed of electromagnetic sound ecologies inside the various electronic components of the recording studio. It is essentially a recording of the  electromagnetic fields produced by studio equipment as they are utilised by the studio operator for daily operation.

A composite of various recordings of electromagnetic fields further processed and layered in Ableton Live to create this track.

Spiralynk is the brainchild of Ankit Malik, an interdisciplinary artist leveraging a multimodal approach to explore the intricate relationship between order and chaos. His creative inquiry spans algorithmic composition, brain-controlled interfaces, immersive audio, procedural audio, and transmission art. He is currently experimenting with machine learning and neural network architectures for real-time audio synthesis and sound manipulation.
