My goal for this song was to merge two separate works together with completely different styles and make them blend into one! I think it turned out pretty great and it was super fun for me to make. Hope you guys dig.

jack cates is a producer I feel is way ahead of the style trend in the lofi hiphop scene. His drum selection primarily is what catches me the most. Usually the drums are soft and sweet and mixed tightly under the mix for atmosphere but in his music it's hard heavy and knocking over a beautiful delicate melody that makes you feel heavy real feelings like the depth of sadness if the song is sad or the intensiity of happiness when the song is happy. I love the way he contrasts his sounds, that being said; This song is quite different from his lofi material in that it's a bit more experimental but still holds true to the jack cates sound! Love this tune and I hope you do as well!
