After losing her brother, Susan is reuniting with her dad and his wife this Christmas! Here is what she said regarding why she wanted to fly them home this Christmas:

Two months ago, my brother Joe was killed by a drunk driver. We grew up here, but our father, Chuck, moved to Arizona a couple of years ago. I’d really like to bring my dad home for Christmas. I know this is not going to be an easy holiday for any of us, but I’d love for my dad to be able to spend it here, with me and my sons (his only grandchildren).

Susan, please know that our hearts go out to all of you as you navigate the deep loss of your brother Joe. May the Lord richly bless your time together this Christmas.

And that organization has taken a huge burden off the shoulders of Kelli Rocha… they just paid off her house. In March of this year, Kelli’s husband Officer Daniel Rocha lost his life in the line of duty. Now the mother of his children can take a deep breath this holiday season. Kelli and her sons can live on in their home in Stanwood, and make new memories this Christmas, even as they honor the ones they made with their husband and dad.
