Cypherclerk is the third release of "_root" and was originally a 4 track EP showcasing the artist's most complex and intriguing works. With style incorporating electroacoustic soundscapes and transformations, complex beats, distorted soundscapes and eerie melodies. This EP was inspired by Greg Egan's book "Diaspora". First LP as _root. Originally It featured 15 tracks as a CD and 9 Tracks as a vinyl release. This album was almost released from "Vibrant" records, i have the master vinyl at home which was sent to me for mastering approval from Germany. Sadly the "Vibrant" record label closed down and the album was never released. More tracks to come soon...

This is a collection of pre "a band apart" era electronica tunes & beats produced under his alias "_root" during the golden age of electronica, between 1999 and 2003. The tracks are heavily influenced by the sound of that era where the most important works of Autechre, Aphex Twin, Squarepusher and Richard Devine where created in his opinion.
