A fictitious competition where 99 of the 100 competitors in a squiggling competition perish. Somewhat inspired by the Dancing Plague of 1518 and Shirley Jackson's short story "The Lottery".

The original version had more vocals, but a decent portion of them were scrapped for the reupload.

Made using GHOST 0.3.6 for the KVR One Synth Challenge. Everything is done via synth, no samples or external modulation used.

This was a lot of fun to make as I used to spend a lot of time trying to make rock tracks using very old MIDI gear (like, SC-55 old) by manipulating them as much as I could. I went with a similar approach here.

The walls croak as you find your balance in the swaying research ship. A week in this storm is enough to make any mans stomach turn, but today you enter the depths of the ocean. You slap some pills into your food hole and climb to deck, the bathyscaphe stands ready.
