kwn has been on a generational run this year. for myself, as a production centered artist, to witness her output, creative process, and elevation has been very inspiring, even if that witnessing has been only thru these lit screens. i greatly enjoyed putting together this track. it's fun, in my opinion it's a fresh take and interpretation of what's absolutely a smash. looking forward to more pushing limits when it comes to fresh takes on old formulas

shoutout to Carmen Lundy for the sample. for the particular track i used, Patrice Rushen played they keys. unfortunately, as a lover of good music, i can't give you the name of the song. you'll have to find it yourself, but Miss Lundy's discography is so robust, you'll probably find another song to fall in love with.
