IRON056 L Nix & Nourma - Astra EP - OUT NOW!

Next up, ADM is proud to present our latest LP, Selections Vol.02, which takes the form of a 10 track compilation traversing a range of profound sonic landscapes. Following on the back of Selections Vol.01 released in 2018 which featured absolute classics including "Particle" by Ziplokk and "Side Dub" by Wraz, the second instalment in this series returns to the epicentre of ADM's signature sound. As part of the return journey, expect a range of diverse talent from a select group of artists based worldwide.

Greyscale and Khromi's contributions put forward sounds that might be equally at home in some styles of techno, embedded into a deep dubstep context. Exuding ethereal and dreamy vibes, an unmistakable depth is exhibited. Phluxx masterfully bridges genres, melding similar sonic influences to that of Greyscale and Khromi with unmistakable reggae elements. Morning High brings a further reggae and dub infused tone, transporting listeners to smoke filled dancefloors. Meanwhile, Split seamlessly fuses a heavy dub aspect with imaginative and clean sound design that captivates. As the LP unfolds, Myxed Up, Qilin, Tinky, Gwann and Fome delve into darker, more esoteric realms, each track a testament to their mastery of the craft through the way they resonate with raw emotion and energy. The darker side of this release is sure to leave a mark on the listener.

Selections Vol.02 is more than just a collection of tracks, it's a testament to the creativity and innovation present within the global community of artists pushing a deep take on the dubstep sound, informed by their respective influences. Back once again, Germany's own Split returns to After Dark Music [ADM] following his recent debut Australian show hosted by the label. The Savannah EP is what we've come to expect from Split, a five track exhibition of mastery at 140 beats per minute. Built for late night sessions and heavyweight sound systems, this one hits with all the creativity and inventiveness so often characteristic of Split's production.

The title track, Savannah, features cinematic vocals and a moody melody that paints landscapes in your mind. Expressions rides the same wave, bringing a starkness and pensive depth. On the other hand, Steel Grind is a certified weapon: pure grit and relentless pressure. Meanwhile in 7 Down we get the best of both, with rolling bassweight alongside brooding and ethereal textures.

Rounding it out, L Nix takes Split's classic Ganja Anthems and flips it into a groove infused stepper... ragga flavours intact, but with an energy that's seriously fresh.

This is proper 140 pressure crafted for the heads, built for the dance. ADM continues to push the underground forward and Split's Savannah EP is a testament.
