I first came up with the idea for this track after a long night drive back from a show and right before I planned on proposing to my now fiancé. The roads were empty and I found myself really paying attention to the streetlights as they passed by. I had the vocal chop stuck in my head from another session, but I found a place for it to live and I am absolutely in love with this track. Saving Somebody Tonight can take on so many meanings, and that is left to be interpreted. Enjoy!
