Reflections originally started from a WIP that Kyperbitz sent over. at the time that he sent it over, I didn't know that it would turn into such a beautiful idea. a few months after listening to the original idea, I asked kyper if I could finish it for him. (because he didn't have any other ideas at the time) he said yes, and sent the project over. after about four failed attempts at the track I finally had an idea that clicked. it was a real struggle for me to finish this arrangement, and even more so for the mixing, as it took 3-4 months to finish the arrangement and nearly another year to finish the Mix and eventually the final master! I would like to shout out to Cyduck for giving this track the platform it deserves and kyper for making this track possible. I literally could not have done it without him!

2022 ID Showcase

Cosmic VIP is my second collaboration with my friend Pixelgrowlz. it was such a joy to work on this track with him as it let me revive some of the older ideas from the original, and recycle them into this ambient, atmospheric, banger of a track! Thank you so much to PixelGrowlz for letting me work on this track with him, and for all the support he's given me over the past year! 

Background for my sections:

you may picture shooting stars in the intro. At least, I do.  In my parts, I wanted to infuse my love of the stars, and my childhood memories of stargazing into the song. the solo was the hardest part to do this with I admit. but I'm so happy that it turned out the way that it did.

SpockAndStep X Pixelgrowlz - Cosmic VIP

This is my latest attempt at making Psytrance. I had the idea when I was messing around with pluck sound design and had an articulation idea come to me while in the middle of the production session. before I knew it, I was off to work, and I made the drop in just an hour or so. the initial idea took me about 4 or so hours to do, and the rest about 20 hours. I hope you do enjoy it! it's by far my favourite experiment to date!

Sramai (SpockAndStep Remix)

I started Dreams at around the time quarantine hit. the melody came to me in a dream (hence the name), and soon became a very personal track to me. which is why I have been hesitant about releasing it. 

The EP started with "The Power Of The Mind" way back in 2019, and the EP was supposed be called "The Power Of The Mind", but I changed it after I decided to add dreams to it, as well as Daybreak (formerly called Daydreams) and Sentiment (formerly called Sorrows of the Past). Dreams quickly became a way for me to vent out my frustration, and confusion at the time into something more constructive, and peaceful. it also helped me discover who I was, and eventually lead me to come out as Transgender to my father (I quite literally came out with "Dreams", which was a stupid idea in retrospect)

I've held The EP for so long because I was waiting for the right moment to release it, but now I just need it out before I move on to the next phase of SpockAndStep, which is a lot darker, and heavier

This, as the title suggests, was my collaboration with Pixelgrowlz for the All Nighter Volume 6 compilation. it was a blast participating in this comp with Pixel, and I cannot wait to do it again!
