Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko is being explored by the Rosetta spacecraft's Philae Lander. The European Space Agency's mission has detected "songs" with the Rosetta Plasma Consortium, an array of instruments for analyzation of the comet. The good Inspecta wanted to remix the sounds into a song; it makes a great backdrop for the Quest for audio drama that currently fills our dreams (and nightmares) here at Spoke & Notes.

Rosetta Traveler 12

Blue Christmas was written by Billy Hayes and Jay W. Johnson and made famous by Elvis in 1957. It's a song of longing and impending sadness as the prospect of Christmas without that special someone might give one the blues for certain. Breaking Bad fans know how much Jesse Pinkman longs for Jane, the love of his life. What if… What if Jesse had a chance to lament his separation from Jane? Would he turn to self-medication to get him through the holidays? Walter White may be the only person with the answer to that question.
DJ Inspecta Breakz lays down a trippy arrangement of Blue Christmas. It's both cheery and dreary at the same time, conjuring memories both lovely and disturbing. King Bloodstone spikes the mix with his sax accompaniment. And, Voice actor Owen McCuen gives Jesse Pinkman a voice in this far out rendition of a holiday classic.

Or perhaps you consider it the shortest known best horror story… Either way, this harrowing tale of terror by Frederic Brown (based on a concept by Thomas Bailey Aldrich), is here recounted by those lovable rapscallions of the drug underworld: Jesse Pinkman and Walter White.

The Last Man On Earth

"Journey, Unexpected" is an audio expedition of several musical selections that were previously composed and voiced by Spoke & Notes; the journey begins when a sage guide arrives to navigate the listener over the shifting terrain of time: From the shadow and substance of the iconic TV program "The Twilight Zone" to the real (as well as the imagined) Rosetta Space mission; From the American literary canon to cable TV's most feared criminal mastermind.  It was compiled in this format for submission to Radiophrenia, a temporary radio art program whose spotlight is the genre-blending of spoken word poetry with experimental music.
