Feeling Myself

I recorded this project from may to august of last year .. I sat on it for a really long time because number 1 , I had to create an energy visually to accompany the music .. and after I did that , I didn’t feel like the music was ENOUGH .. so I continued to hold on to it .. it was originally supposed to come out at the very top of the year , but I just didn’t feel like I was all the way ready for what was to come .. I hand wrote every single lyric that I spit , from my heard to my head to my pen inside of my backstreet boys notebook .. when I started writing this project , I just wanted to create a world musically that made me feel good and reminded me of the good times when I was younger , and me and my sister would watch TRL and just immerse ourselves into pop culture .. I was off of social media for about 2 months while writing and recording and it felt good just to get into my own head and my own world .. and I hope you enjoy and wanna keep playing it ♥️🙏🏾💫
