Hey guys, very interesting topic and very similar concepts to a book I'm currently reading called "Mindset: The New Psychology of Success". I think you both would enjoy it. In the book, the author talks about a "fixed" mindset vs "growth" mindset.  Fixed mindset would be labeling a language as difficult and confusing. A growth mindset would be enjoying the music of the language and getting excited about how much there is to learn. Good stuff!

In case anyone is interested in getting started with meditation, I tried the first free sessions from headspace.com and thought it was a pretty good introduction.
