This one is my first new mix in over a year and a half; it's dedicated to what has become my favourite musical space: expansive, melodic, spacious and weighty dubwise/dubtechno music. Starting at around 112 bpm and ending at 160 over the course of almost 2 and a half hours, this is a mix I'd been meaning to put together for some time now and I'm so happy to share it now. As always, listen on some quality speakers or headphones; this sort of music especially benefits from proper low end as you know.

Recorded in Serato on two Technics 1200s, a Rane 72MKII and with live dubbing on a Benidub dub siren and Roland space echo pedal.

Jason Burruss has been a linchpin in the bass music community in both California and Colorado for years. Whether it be constructing intricate DJ sets using an incredible breadth of genres moods ante tempos, curating innovative events with his production company, Purple Couch, or creating custom jewelry, Jason Burruss is a seemingly ubiquitous lifeform, popping up and creating something interesting wherever he finds himself. He has an ostensibly intrinsic ability to adapt to his environment. In preparation for this mix the artist explored our collective's music taste, and constructed a narrative that suits both our ethos and listener's sonic preference.
