It was a BLAST! We've been around this festival for the better part of twenty years now and this has been a very moving one. Thanks to the amazing crew that made it happen in very challenging circumstances.

Speed Sloth Twister 2022

When we heard that we were to play the opening set on Wiese main floor at Nation of Gondwana 2023 (the 29th issue of this mainstay of Open Air culture, btw) we were unsure what to make of it. Surprisingly it worked out quite well. Hugz to our steadfast fanbase still turning up in numbers after 22 years! More thanks the red hot ´n hungry festival crowd who made it such a blast and the marvellous NoG Team still making it happen. Punks not dead! [deep Kotau]

At times the fact that DJs play other peoples´ music tends to fade into the background somewhat. Time to pay them hommage!

In the course of more than 15 years we have encountered a bunch of impressive artists.

It was and still is their music that has made our sets what they are. Some of them came to play at one or the other of our annual GRAND SPORTFEST events in Berlin.

Some musical connections have even evolved into long-standing friendships.
So the idea of kinking up with these special colleagues to create a compilation came easy and a while ago. And much later, finally here it is!

Eleven of our most cherished guest artists have contributed their own tracks to create this showcase.

Marie and I are raptured to finally announce on Liberation Day the release of our martial arts saga "Siu Nam Tao" on Herz&Leber`s Lebertape#7 (heart and liver for non German speakers who care to differentiate between the two)!

The track was and still is inspired by the Shaolin tale of a young Chinese woman desperately trying to fend off the perspective of forced marriage to a wealthy warrior. In her dire predicament she dares him to a fight in one year's time, provided she'll walk free if she prevails. Confronted with the prospect of fighting a superior enemy, the tale´s hero encounters an old woman well versed in Shaolin Kung Fu. She is taught Siu Nam Tao, or the art of turning your adversary's strength against him....
