Keine Ahnung quartet from Germany formed in 1980. The live sound utilized more complex synthesizers, tapes, guitars, metal percussion and custom built electronics. The beats and bass lines came from the Roland 606/303 duo triggering a KORG MS-20 for the bass drum.

The Reducers were a punk band from Bury Lancashire formed in mid 1977 and signed to Vibes Records. One more single Airwaves from 1980 when The Reducers had surprisingly signed to EMI and were suddenly a synth pop band.

Tone Set was a Tempe, Arizona band that existed from circa 1981 to 1983. It consisted of Galen Herod and Greg Horn. They met while working for KAET, a Public Broadcasting station in Tempe.
Their early sound was ostensibly synthetic, mixing very 'clean' synthesizer sounds with tapes.

Fatal Charm (originally known as The Fatal Charm) were a new wave group formed in the Nottingham area in 1978. Originally an all male three-piece then four-piece group, they were joined in 1980 by vocalist Sarah Simmonds. For this 5th #MONTHLYPULSEREWORK, I did a club edit of 1979 Derby Records disco classic "I'm In Love" by Cela.

Disco master Joey Negro did his edit of it, that I played over and over and that actually made me discover this song a couple years back. I felt like I needed to do my own version, with a new intro, new breaks, some new elements added, and a new mastering to make it sound the way I want.
