Shannen SP is a London-based DJ, artist, vocalist, curator and founding member of the Nine Nights collective. She has worked with Hyperdub, and is also a resident and A&R at NTS Radio.

Unsound Podcast 75 is a recording of her late-night set at Unsound this year, largely exploring the South African Amapiano genre, with many tracks from the 'Amapiano Now' compilation she co-curated for NTS Records earlier this year.

She says: "It was amazing to see people react to a sound that some of them may not have been familiar with yet. I played the darker, minimal side of the genre, stripped-back vocals, and more experimental. I first heard Amapiano from my cousins in Joburg a few years ago and became obsessed with the sound so seeing it go off in Krakow and at a festival I love was special for sure. Playing after Menzi's incredible gqom was an honor."
