Jon Matlack is is one of the most underrated  New York Mets pitchers in their 50-plus years of existence.  He was the fourth overall pick by the New York Mets in the 1967 Major League Baseball draft. Long before the 1986 staff and generation k and the current staff he was part of the "big 3   Three" pitchers that the New York Mets were built around in the 1970s, along with Tom Seaver and Jerry Koosman.   He compiled 1,023 strikeouts and a 3.03 earned run average as a Met. He was a 3 time all star and the 1972 NL rookie of the year, He joins Mark to talk about his amazing career and the current state of pitching.

Jerry Narron after being drafted out of high school in the sixth round by the New York Yankees in the 1974 Major League Baseball Draft.[enjoyed an 8-year playing career in the majors where  primarily was a catcher,  from 1979 to 1987 playing for three major league teams  the New York Yankees  Seattle Mariners , and California Angels He would go onto have a 7-year managing career, serving as skipper for the Texas Rangers and the Cincinnati Reds. He has served as coach for many teams including 2 teams still involved in the playoffs  as well as last but not least team Israel at the 2017 World Baseball Classic. He joins Mark, Aj and Ryan to talk about all of it .
