I wrote this album through age 19-21 just trying to make cents of everything happening to me and other oppressed people in the world. folks gotta eat and survive. This album is that type of micro and macro economics from the perspective of a young black male. some universoul nigga shit. this the type of math real negus feel. “niggas need money” is as candid as the name presents. 9/7.

Pleroma Radio was instituted based upon a need to showcase and highlight the culture that is the broader DIY HipHop scene. Distinguished from the trap ridden, mumble spitting vanity rap associated with the underground in recent history, Pleroma Radio seeks to bring awareness to the sound taking place between the cracks! We represent the diversity in experience as black and brown folks, committed to self-expression via mediums still relatively new. HipHop is a culture that spreads beyond music and exists as an intangible value to be experienced! As the undercurrent keeping our lives afloat through dance, djing, emceeing, graffiti, KNOWLEDGE & SCHOLARSHIP, and fashion, let it be known that for these reasons we seek to regain control of the narrative and tell our stories, celebrated by an audience of like-minded individuals. As the "Principles of true hiphop" transform into tenets for "...[contracts] and money making," our goal at Pleroma Radio is to never do what they do. We uplift the gifts of those before us, sharing the same geographical space in real time. Pleroma Radio is an inclusive space, however this community is focused solely on HipHop and Soul inspired sounds! This is no disrespect to our siblings from other genres, but special focus must be given to the children of BEATS AND RHYTHM. We hope you find some extra room in your busy schedules and attention spans as we galvanize HipHop heads the world over!
