SANKT continues the new Crux singles series with its eyes and heart firmly on (imaginary) dancefloors. “Crux II: Angles Morts” serves up bending and twitching breakbeat contortions, glitchy abstractions and desolate atmospherics. Wiry subterranean clunks announce 'Angles Morts' by Sankt, the second part of our ongoing Crux singles series. Bending and twitching, these throbs manifest as shapeshifting jungle contortions, sometimes cheeky, but mostly less so. Demented choral phrases underline the wobble and bluster, before a desolate pad motif is woven into its fabric, giving the push and pull a more sullen tone. 

On the singles more explorative B-side, Thousand Yard Stare, ambient roil and spalls of turmoil take turns. Here, scuttling and filtered drums dance around frosty dub-techno atmospherics, only to erratically and like a force of nature break into bursts of breakbeat recoil. We got five great artists and friends to swing things around, giving "Gravity Always Wins" by TX4 their own makeover.

This compilation brings together remixes from Nuevo Prohibido, A2iCE & BO3, Sepbtt, DJ Powerade and Matildnz.

A big thank-you goes out to them all!

All profits will be donated to support the cause of Ousmane.

Ousmane is a friend of ours here in Freiburg, where he came as a refugee in 2019. He first moved from the refugee reception centre in Freiburg to a shared accommodation in Offenburg. This year, he then had to move to Renchen near Offenburg. As he is doing his apprenticeship in Freiburg, this means a 3-hour commute there and back every day. Ousmane would like to move to Freiburg and friends of ours have organized a room in a shared flat for him. But as he can't give notice for his shared container room in Renchen, he has to pay two months' rent. We therefore want to use the profits from this EP to support Ousmane during this time. The overall donation target is €2000 so that he can pay the double rent for 6 months.
