Eggo is the alter ego for French producer Thierry Boyer, resident artist at Timid Records but also with a fresh remix under his belt for the famous Kitsune label. He makes his return to Manual Music after his double a-sided single 'The Valley' / 'Respire' which got released back in 2012 with additional remixes by Spada and Moonbeam and gained a lot of support. For this new EP Eggo does it all on his own, presenting four new songs; two full on DJ tracks completed with an interlude and an outro. See of it as a small musical journey through the world of Eggo if you like, a world that is filled with raw and rugged beats layered with warm melodies and topped of with a high standard of production skills.

Markus Schulz's acclaimed Coldharbour Recordings label reaches another milestone, and in continuing with tradition, signifies the achievement with a production from the man himself. For release number 175, Markus delves into his clubbier, instrumental-driven Dakota alias, with a track aptly titled, CLXXV.

The Dakota name stems from Markus' residential years in Arizona, and contributed productions and remixes to labels such as Bedrock and Yoshitoshi. After a seven year hiatus, the alias was revived in 2009, and has since yielded two albums under his Thoughts Become Things series, accumulating much acclaim in the process. And despite a plentiful production palette over the past year, primarily contributing towards his Scream 2 album, his desire to continue the Dakota legacy continues, and with CLXXV, accomplishes it beautifully.

CLXXV, the Roman numeral equivalent of 175, embodies the hallmarks of Markus' traditional traits, combining deep rolling basslines with soulful melodies. The track debuted in grand fashion during his solo set at Space in Miami during Winter Music Conference, and was an ever-present throughout the recent Scream 2 Bus Tour, along with becoming the most requested ID in his Global DJ Broadcast sets.

It's a congratulatory moment for all of the Coldharbour family, along with its legion of followers. And through his Dakota alias, the label boss delivers in style. CLXXV is an essential for your summer parties.
