[PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] is proud to present its 77th release. A soundtrack for a dystopia that no one ever wrote. K-Joshua (@dj-joshua) from Setúbal transmits into the ether Opposite Falls EP — nine audio fragments from a parallel chronicle. This is not just dub techno. This is a memory of a world where falling is a form of ascent. There are falls that lead you upward. There is sweetness that tastes bitter. There is music that doesn't echo in the ears, but in the spaces between thoughts. All of this — Opposite Falls EP by K-Joshua — is a new coil in the paradoxical spiral of [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB].

Here, sound flows like water against the current. It climbs the slopes of the mind, skimming the familiar, revealing the impossible. Five original narratives:

:::Bitter Fall — not sorrow, but clarity at the edge of collapse.
:::Sweet Fall — not joy, but release, gentle as ashes over a desert.
:::Deep Uncertainty — the heart of the EP, the breath of a universe undecided in its own becoming.
:::Deep Uncertainty (Final Apocalyptic Reprise) — not an ending, but a mirror where the sky reflects after the final exhale.
:::Absolute Certainty — a trap of the mind. Where there is a point, there is no movement. And without movement — no life.

Hidden in the sleeves of this record are four alchemists:

:::Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer Version (@enercube & @x_fr) returns to the roots — where roots are wires buried in the soil of sub-bass and chords as energy.
:::Protyv (@protyv) splits the “Fall” into two beams of light: one cuts through concrete, the other dances on the surface of rain.
:::Jonah van der Hout (@jonahvanderhout) brings us "Absolute Uncertainty" — like a code left behind by a civilization that no longer exists.

Opposite Falls EP by K-Joshua is a space built from sound — like the seaside streets of Setúbal, in the half-shade of old facades and salty winds. Each track invites you into a room with its own acoustics. In one — the whisper of water rushing upward. In another — concrete vibrating with the rhythm of ancient techno archaeology. And somewhere in between — silence where absolute uncertainty hides. This release doesn't seek logic. It lives in between. Between architecture and nature. Between sweetness and bitterness. Between falling and returning to the self. Opposite Falls EP is not music you listen to. It is music that listens to You. And, perhaps — for a moment — understands.

Der Sommer schwenkt von der Spätphase langsam in den Herbst - für viele mit die schönste Zeit des Jahres, auf jeden Fall für den lieben Andreas, der diese 445. Episode bereits vor seinem kleinen Trip nach Italien konzipiert und teilweise vorproduziert hat, um sich bei der knappen Zeit zwischen Rückkehr und Veröffentlichungsdatum nicht unnötig Stress auszusetzen. Die heutige Musikauswahl ist mal ganz anders aufgeteilt, denn es erwartet Euch (vermutlich zum ersten Mal) ein Fünferpack in der Mitte der Playliste. Und damit nicht genug: als Rausschmeißer fungiert zum ersten mal ein Songpärchen! Nova sind also auch nach über 19 Jahren auf Sendung noch immer möglich bei "XtraChill"!

The summer break for "XtraChill" ends today, September 15th, 2025! Summer is slowly turning into autumn – for many, the most beautiful time of the year, and certainly for dear Andreas, who conceived and partially pre-produced this 445th episode before his little trip to Italy so as not to put himself under unnecessary stress in the short time between his return and the release date. Today's music selection is divided up quite differently, because (probably for the first time) you can expect a five-pack in the middle of the playlist. And that's not all: for the first time, a pair of songs will serve as bouncer at the end! So even after more than 19 years on the air, novelties are still possible on "XtraChill"!

XtraChill 445

A self-proclaimed polycephalous dragon, Alex and Andrew's two heads have combined with great effect within the underground dance scene. Coming together once more under their Lanvary production guise, a fourth original EP finds its way to the Particles catalogues through the mighty "Leviathan".

Always able to make sound judgements in their production environment, Lanvary's musical acumen has never been in doubt. Joining together from "two different musical perspectives", the duo has established their blue-chip credentials with a string of impressive releases across a plethora of high-calibre imprints. Thus, over a century of production credits sit proudly against their name since the "Airtight" EP found success on Michael and Levan and Stiven Rivic's Mistique Digital in November 2010.

Since then, a rich seam of original music has found its way to the likes of Stellar Fountain, Stripped Digital and Silk Music with notable success. Furthermore, Particles has found a home for a wealth of the Lanvary production material. The "Micromegas", "Slingshot Ride" and "Penumbra" EPs, have all showcased a range of progressive house sounds, as has a strong reworking of Kastis Torrau and Donatello's "Genesis" in February 2017.

Now returning to the label, Particles is delighted to announce the release of a fourth original EP, this time in the shape of the bold, "Levithan". Opener, "Akyoomen", begins with a delicious bouncing bass groove that anchors tightly to a strong kick. Hi-hats and percussive white-noise effects wash and pan across the stereo-spectrum as a luscious, filtered pad fills the mid-range frequencies. Elegantly evolving with rippling arpeggio structures, an intelligently worked vocal arrangement provides pitched character, repeated in the third movement after a typically dynamic breakdown. The resultant work is a sure-fire dance floor destroyer for the spring and summer months.

The title track is filled with the same immaculate production approach as its partner as a huge, rasping, pitch bent bass note signals intent for the deep, rich, dance-floor groove to follow. Surrounded by percussive layers and gated synth line, the evolving, squelching bass line adds dynamism and interest. Creating a superbly executed hypnotic flow, "Leviathan" bubbles under a sea of additional production material that creates a dark and mesmerising offering that is testament to the skill and attention to detail present in the Lanvary "musical kitchen".

Lurking in the depths of the underground music ocean, Lanvary are at the peak of their powers as their "Leviathan" is brought to the surface to wreak aural havoc upon unsuspecting club-goers the world over.

The UK-based composer has managed to attract fans from both ends of the electronic music spectrum, from deep house to trance, ever since, in large part due to the influential support of Above & Beyond, Chicane, and various other global leaders. A half-decade of artistic growth has led the London native to a defining moment in his career: the release of "Life On The Shore," his debut artist album.

Straddling deep and (melodic) progressive house, Marsh's twelve breathtaking album cuts invoke an air of romance, if not eroticism, as gentle grooves, distant atmospheric effects, and soothing, yet indelible melodic themes envelop the listener. Ellie Shantz, Katherine Amy, and Marcelle Antunes, all newcomers to our imprint, treat us to a total of five standout vocal contributions to Marsh's dream-like soundscapes. Rendering the listener pensive and profoundly at peace, "Life On The Shore," in the final analysis, seems to conjure a utopian existence, in which life is both more relaxed and spiritually fulfilling.
