ReDefined Episode 51 - August 2021 @ Proton Radio

Hello everyone, you are about to jump on board our weekly wander around Planet Prog! Yes the PFG Progcast has landed on your doormat, open up and see what's waiting!!

We continue our collaboration with the Tribu Session's collective and today, it's the turn of their founding member. UK Based DJ/Producer/Remixer/PR/A&R and Event Manager, we cannot wait for you to hear this set. Ladies & Gent's give it up for Land Mammal UK (Steve Adams)

UK-based Electronic music producer and DJ Steve Adams presents his latest project under the guise of Land Mammal UK. His atmospheric, deep progressive house sound earned him his first signing for Spring Tube Records for his release 'Vibrations' in May 2019.
Since then Steve has released on labels like: Abstract Space, Round Triangle, Lohit Deep, BQ Recordings, 3XA, Mystic Carousel,  Musical Harmony Records, and both Saturo Sounds LP's I & II.
He has also remixed for Odsen on Round Triangle and RYAN & Roger Escalante on 3XA respectively. One of his fondest moments was the remix of his track by Tombro; 'Thoughts and Realities' being aired on Solarstone's monthly Pure Trance Radio. 
In 2018 and after a short spell out of the industry Steve’s DJ and events work picked up again when he set up Tribu’. The first event in Manchester with headliner "Universal Solution" yielded a landmark event in terms of new friends coming together to turn Tribu’ into more than a solo venture.
Dave Nico and Lynsey Whitwam joined and they formed a collective alongside Gavin Holland (Universal Solution) but as time passed and new opportunities arose, the group trimmed to the trio we see today.

January 2021 saw Steve join Jimi Falconer & Craig Pailing at Birmingham based record label Plethora Muzik. As well as promotion, events and A&R, his role as a DJ for them see's all three appearing bi-monthly in collaboration with PFG for a three hour live stream on their Mixcloud page, called "Alchemy".

This year has seen Steve also appear twice on Frisky Radio and provide a guest mix for Buddy Sewijin on Proton Radio, where his mix landed at no. 3 in the charts.
Steve & Dave Nico’s ‘Saturo Sounds Presents Tribu’ Sessions’ continue with their monthly show, also featuring an array of talent including Amber Long, Dhany G, Olga Misty and Matias Ocano.

There's more to come from Steve as his Land Mammal UK project continues  into 2021 working on new production projects, collaborations, events and radio mixes. Just like this one, ENJOY!

Vapour Recordings returns with 2 debutants to the label for another EP jam packed full or sonic goodness!

First up is the EP headliner with Patch Park delivering two very fine grooves with Hips and Dips and Delete the Past. Hips and Dips is a peak time hypnotic juggernaut guaranteed to do some damage while Delete the Past takes on a more warm up approach.

On remix duties we have another debut from Zankee Gulati. Having featured heavily on labels such as The Soundgarden and Meanwhile, Zankee joins the Vapour Recordings stables with a fantastic rendition of Hips and Dips.

This EP has had some great early support from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Nick Warren and many more.
