Presentamos este nuevo episodio de ESPECTRO junto a SPRKLBB. Un l All-Vinyl DJ y fotógrafo radicado en New York. Como discípulo del dúo neoyorquino de house The Carry Nation, sus sesiones muestran un sonido ecléctico e improvisado basado en gran medida en la mezcla. Sus noches de club en Brooklyn, en las que se nutre de una profunda biblioteca de estilos, atraen a los principales nombres de la música de baile underground para sesiones B2B únicas. 
Estas sesiones íntimas le han valido reconocimientos internacionales, con apariciones en clubes de alta fidelidad y festivales de todo el mundo. SPRKLBB transports us into the stratosphere with just under 90 minutes of mind-melting liquid-like techstep for the latest Off-Kilter mix. An all vinyl ethereal, deep, slow / fast hybrid exploration fused with kinetic propulsion, influenced by drum and bass rhythms with a futuristic twist.

SPRKLBB is an all-vinyl DJ, producer, and photographer based in New York City. A mentee of NYC house duo The Carry Nation, his sets showcase an eclectic, improvisational sound rooted in the mix. Pulling from a deep library of styles, his Brooklyn club nights draw top names in underground dance music for unique B2B sets. These intimate jam sessions have led to global nods, with appearances at hi-fi clubs and festivals internationally. Known for long blends and unconventional physicality, his raw approach to vinyl adds a fun, fresh voice to the format. He holds residencies at The Lot Radio and Soho Radio, and is the curator of Club Moment NYC.

Bottom Forty Mix 054 :: SPRKLBB

Vinyl-only DJ and visual artist SPRKLBB aka Andy Egelhoff has been an avid collector of dance records of a decade. After photographing underground nightlife in cities around the world, he moved back to NYC in 2014 and began throwing his own parties as SPRKLBB - a zany caricature of himself meant to challenge a perceived stoicism in underground dance music culture. He was quickly discovered by DJs Nita and Will Automagic of The Carry Nation, and spent the early half of 2016 as the resident DJ and programmer for New York’s Ostbahnhof parties. He currently manages the nightlife programming for The Gateway, a new venue in Bushwick, where he throws an alternative/queer techno monthly called Collapse Factory.

Andy Egelhoff is a DJ and photographer based in Brooklyn who performs as SPRKLBB. Currently the resident of Seze Devres’ long-running Kiss & Tell Party, he’s been a fixture of New York’s underground since his time programming affordable queer parties with Ostbahnhof and the sex-positive fetish series High+Tight. For GhostlyCast #79, he offers up a sampling of releases that showcase the hypnotic and cathartic side of the club. The all-vinyl set (save for the unreleased 1800HaightStreet demo) was recorded at the Club Moment afters den in Bushwick. “It’s a mix about elation and collapse, a continuous binary of moments that define a life of dance music.”
