Modestly proud of our inventiveness, we present the DJ duo HypnoreKS97, made up of local underground stalwarts HKS97 and Hypnorex (half of Sportbrigarde Sparwasser). When we were looking for a good DJ to play alongside the legendary German punk band PISSE at our festival, we had such a hard time deciding which of those two we should ask that we just forced them to share the slot. Punk ist ein Stahlbad

This set is a bittersweet memory. Originally, I Lena @brumby invited me to @palomabar share the night and booth with her. Then, last minute really, she got sick and had to cancel. So, instead, I found myself scrambling to prepare to open the night to hand over to @edherbst for the closing.

I tend to be rather pedantic when preparing my sets. There was no time for this. Luckily, one of the most enthusiastic crowds I’ve ever played for made it easy to just pick the next track, and the next, and the next.

So, this is my essence of House Music. It looks back at the past twelve years of DJing, while looking into the future. In the end, that’s what House Music should be about. Sharing a night, respectfully, dancing, happy. 

Thanks to all souls who made this possible.
