The latest release on Madloch's Crossfade Sounds welcomes the return of Belgian artist The Open Circle with Day Zero EP, his third EP on the label since making his debut in 2024. Now firmly established within the Crossfade Sounds catalogue, he has continued to broaden his profile over the past year, closing out 2025 with a collaborative EP alongside Berlin-based Angel Lebailly and contributing remixes for a range of fellow artists. His sound has also reached beyond the label, with releases on respected imprints such as Greyscale Records, MixCult Digital, Superordinate, and ECOUL SND.

Day Zero EP delivers four original tracks that underline his refined, deep-rooted approach. Echoes of Wisdom opens the release with a spacious, reflective tone, followed by the steady drive of Day Zero. Subtide dives deeper into fluid, dub-influenced rhythms, while A Walk in the Park offers a subtle, measured closing. Together, the EP captures The Open Circle at a mature stage of his development, reinforcing his growing role within the Crossfade Sounds roster.
