A fan favourite on the roster of renowned UK label Anjunadeep and one of the breakout stars of the melodic house scene, Marsh has sculpted a distinctly warm, emotional sound since he first emerged in the mid-2010s. Inspired by his teenage love of the emotionally rich, early 2000s trance sound and the musicality of crossover drum & bass acts like Pendulum, he’s distilled these disparate influences into a captivating and soulful signature style.

Although it feels kind of heavy to be posting about music these days, one of the best part of my year is sharing this mix with everyone. These mixes have been a yearly tradition since 2008, and this one is defiantly among my very favourites. I’ve decided to go back to my roots a bit with this one, with lots of 90’s influenced music from the likes of Matthias, Masalo, Jamie Leather, Sally C, Spray, Running Hot, Shanti Celeste, Peach, Juaan, E Talking, Voodoos & Taboos, Theo Kottis & many others. Lets all hope for a better 2024 ✌🏻

DAYS like NIGHTS 324

I felt the biggest honor to play Monday sunset at DISTRIKT for Burning Man 2023; their parties were a highlight of my first (2022) burn. The day was scorching, and I was still mentally adjusting to the playa having just traveled from Thailand two days prior. I went into the set without a plan (as always) but with an intention - balancing fun and emotion. I tested quite a bit of unreleased tracks and edits, as there is no better place to push your boundaries than the playa. As the sun began to set, the temperature cooled, and the energy of the crowd went through the roof. I’ll never forget this stunning evening.

Starting as a basement and an idea, and becoming a Chicago nightlife institution - Spybar Nightclub has been the literal underground music destination for the downtown Chicago area for over 25 years. The small room with the big sound on Franklin & Erie has consistently presented globally recognized artists as well as up-and-coming producers and DJs, who are always paired with our talented resident and Chicago-area DJs.
