We’ve got a sick collection of jams for our Night Bass Freshmen Volume 3. Fresh off her ‘OG Sins’ EP, @NostalgixMusic brings us “Mind Tricks” featuring catchy vocals from Way that serenade you into a massive, wobbly bassline drop. A more ominous vibe comes through on @InklineUK’s “Dimension”, a sinister production with a unique blend of UK bass and garage. We welcome @DrinksOnMeMusic to the @NightBassRecords family with “Planes”, a groovy number with a head nodding beat that offers a more mellow vibe to the compilation. The collaborative “Sketter” from @HoneyAndBadgerMusic and @MaklaMusic ends the EP on a high note with its energetic buildup and a percussive explosion on the bass drop.

Drinks On Me lands back on Night Bass with his first solo release with us, the ‘Delusion’ EP. A one-two garage step punch starts things off in title track ‘Delusion’, where pitch-shifted vocal samples flow seamlessly over melody-boosted rhythms. The sinister imprint of the 808-foward ‘The Basskeeper’ delivers a club-ready weapon, fully equipped with gassed up vocal samples and a massive syncopated bassline. Up next is a juicy UKG collab with Papps, ‘FTB’, adorned with funky melodies that melt harmoniously into a bubbly, shuffle-worthy tempo. The lovely soundscaping in ‘Walk Away’ collab with Why So Low makes for an addictively groovy roller, strongly rounding off the EP.

2020 has been an excellent year for Drinks On Me, with a number of releases on various well renowned dance music labels, establishing his name within the dance music community. He is starting 2021 off with a bang with his single release on Wang Records, titled “Exhale”. Wang records have seen a strong year in the electronic dance music scene, with releases such as Tenshu ‘Inside the ride’ and the Avirex Airwaves 2 compilation, including Drinks on me smash hit ‘On Your Mind’. This new release includes melodic chords and vocals along with punchy drums and an exciting switch up towards the 2nd half. This song is the perfect cross between ambient, chilled vibes and that jumpy new UKG we all love. This tune is the perfect example of what Wang records is all about, good vibes and good energy!
