Continuing on the path set forth on his Recall EP, Eusebeia returns to Modern Conveniences with another extended play that exists on the very edge of drum & bass. The music reflects on themes of technology, communication, spiritual alignment, and the different ways these things affect our modern lives. Beats are stripped back to subtle percussion and pulsing rhythms while vocal samples move lightly through corridors and distant halls. Each song captures its own story through Eusebeia’s unique viewpoint.

This is Urban Poetry's 2nd 12“ vinyl release and it combines old and new in a beautiful and timeless way. Being located in Berlin, the label has been releasing 170 bpm music and beyond for almost twelve years now. Both tracks, Cruel Culture's Hyperion and Elusive Elements & Silent Mind's Immortal, first came out in 2012 as digital only releases and were musical milestones for the label. Their sheer beauty and grace is still breathtaking today. In Cruel Culture's Hyperion, celestial strings and atmospheric pads open up the doors for a dance of the titans to which the track continually evolves and takes the listener to other spheres. Tellus, an uprising star and extremly gifted talent within the 170 scene, blesses us with a modern, breathtakingly fresh and epic remix of Hyperion. Razor-sharp drums lead through the track while the characteristic strings from the original accompany a super heavy and deep diving bassline. Top notch business! The flipside follows the same concept with Elusive Elements & Silent Mind's Immortal, which offers another classic from the Urban Poetry rows. Immortal is a beautifully crafted piece of contemporary electronic dance music and is, with its classic groove, earworm melody and minimal arrangement, somehow reminiscent of the early days of synthesizer music. Kodama, to some better known as Ahmad or Acid_Lab, joined forces with Turrican for the Remix. Staying true to the original the two added their special touch and gave it a new, more etheric, outfit. The 12" release will be strictly limited and comes in a full color sleeve with a sticker and (Bandcamp) download-code. 12" and Digital will be avaible end of August 2021 via Bandcamp and other resellers.

Tellus returns to Modern Conveniences with his second EP for the label. Shrouded In Sun sees the artist refining and perfecting his unique blend of ambient atmospherics and halftime drum & bass.

“Home” sets the tone for the EP as lush filtered pads climb atop Tellus’s energetic yet restrained drum work. “Jovian Dreams” showcases his penchant for subtle melodies paired with a sparing use of breaks. The title track is an exercise in restraint as distant pianos flutter in a foggy haze of pads and atmospherics. Closing track “Lens Flare” walks along a path of staccato rhythms, punctuated by stretched vocals and Tellus’s trademark synths. Shrouded In Sun is a truly memorable EP which showcases an artist completely in his element.
