this is one of my few live and on the fly sets (done with 2 cdj-100s and a 2 channel mixer - semi old school style). i hope you enjoy even though there are a few mistakes. also, this is slightly too long for a cd, so if anyone is really interested in burning this just let me know and i can edit it down to fit. thanks for listening!

Squidot - Imaginary Friends [Drumstep/Drum & Bass/Dubstep/House]

This set is a love letter to the most important person in my life. For over a decade she and I have shared many memories and I'm joyed to be able to call her my wife and my best friend. 

When we first met, one of the similarities that helped us grow together was our love for music. Both being very open minded to various genres, we spent a lot of time sharing musical experiences together and discovering new environments. 

One record label ended up catching us and taking us for quite a ride and still suits us to this day. With their bass filled, sometimes ridiculous grooves that can make you move and smile, Dirtybird has been a notable group of artists in our lives. So, I decided to focus on them in order to make a very special gift for my love.

Hopefully you can enjoy these grooves as much as we do!
