Rather than have a character bio in this section, I want to discuss the scenario this track gets used for. During the Entropy route, the killing spree you embark on is causing the already fragile timeline to begin outright collapsing. The timeline's unravelling is happening in such an extreme way, there’s enough scrap data within reach for the Conductor’s owls to extract from outside of time itself. So Conductor has his owls use said data to "reconstruct" certain characters that you've battled before (not just on this route,) and spread them all across the Mafia Flows to stall "Bow" for as long as possible. ...But since the data *is* just scraps, the process isn't perfect. And due to these imperfections, there are certain quirks that aren’t present in the original fights that (even moreso than the actual power boost) contribute to these rematches being a real pain to take down.

And to complete the "normal" battle theme quadrilogy, we now have an actual replacement for Stronger Monsters! This was always the plan for where the track would get put, and why it's so low down on the OST list. I've admittedly been very "utilitarian" with a lot of the stuff I've put into this AU; I don't wanna add something like this or (just for example) Megalo Strike Back to the OST roster if it doesn't serve some form of purpose. (See: Collapsing Timelines + the Peregrine tracks.)
Anyhow. Am genuinely so glad I had the opportunity to commission GamePlayah here, he knocked this out of the park. Really nailed the vibe of Death Wish, and added some nice flourishes. Hope y'all enjoy as well! :3 --Ashley

When the Cards' Realm was first created, the land was split into 4 parts of the same whole, each with a suit of Cards to lead it.

Spades.
Clubs.
Hearts.
Diamonds.

The Wizard King was the very first of the Cards, and lives on as King of Diamonds to this day.

The other suits have had a long history and lineage, spanning several kings, queens, princes and princesses, born from the earth itself to fulfill their purposes.

Every leader of a suit is crowned with their suit's Heirloom, a sacred item which greatly amplifies their power, giving them the proper abilities for their duties as leader.

For centuries, the Four Suits have lived in cooperation and harmony with each other.

Now, someone has disrupted the balance from within...

One of the Heirlooms has disappeared: the Spade Crown. The newly made King Lancer of Spades has sent the Heroes of Light to retrieve it.

However, what may seem like a simple search for a crown will derail into something much more drastic...
