Shattered Veil is a visceral sonic journey through fractured realities and spiritual unrest, fusing Brutalstep’s raw aggression with spectral dubstep atmospherics. Divine Distortion crafts a haunting narrative where whispers crawl through static voids and truths unravel in the chaos of decomposing worlds. The track opens with eerie verses that evoke broken mirrors and splintered wood—symbolizing the collapse of falsehoods and the exposure of hidden truths.

The build-up surges with tension as the “shattered veil” becomes a metaphor for revelation and reckoning, culminating in drops that pulse with seismic bass and glitch-infused distortion. Verse two intensifies the fever dream, conjuring siren screams and twisted visions, while the outro dissolves into a ghostly breakdown—echoes reversing, whispers repeating, and a final warped chime decaying into silence.

This track is more than sound—it's a confrontation with inner demons, a lament for lost clarity, and a call to awaken. Shattered Veil stands as a testament to Divine Distortion’s mastery of blending spiritual themes with dark, immersive soundscapes.

Beneath the neon glow of a city where ancient rites clash with futuristic steel, メンヤヒメ brews a dark elixir of pain and power. "影の出汁" dives deep into the shadowed corners of her soul — where the scars of a broken past simmer beneath the surface, and every battle leaves a taste harder to swallow. This track melds cyberpunk intensity with raw emotional EDM, telling the story of a shrine maiden caught between tradition and rebellion.

In this shadow broth, メンヤヒメ fights to reclaim her identity and ignite a flame that refuses to die.

Gears & Rust is the story of a transformation — both sonically and spiritually. The debut album from Leeds-based producer and songwriter S.O.B.A starts in serenity and ends in fire, guiding listeners through a journey of clarity, conflict, and catharsis.

The first half breathes with liquid drum & bass textures, soft harmonies, mellow rap verses, and atmospheric storytelling. Tracks like “Old Pine Woods” and “Southern Moon” feel like morning mist and memory — warm, reflective, and rooted in nature and nostalgia. Here, the lyrics float between moments of love, recovery, and inner peace, woven through vinyl crackle, field recordings, and emotive melodies.

But as the album progresses, the tone shifts. “Babylon Tricks” signals a pivot: the drums hit harder, the message grows sharper, and S.O.B.A’s pen turns militant. From there, Gears & Rust descends into the rave — fusing jump-up chaos, dubstep growls, and layered wordplay that explores addiction, resistance, ambition, and rage. Tracks like “WorkRate” and “Melter Mode” are aggressive and raw — rave weapons with hidden messages coded in rhyme, distorted basslines, and second-drop switch-ups designed to shock and awaken.

By the time the title track “Gears & Rust” lands, the contrast is clear: this album isn’t just about sound — it’s about survival. The gears keep turning, even when the body feels rusted. The soul fights on, even when scarred.

From dusk-lit riversides to smoke-filled basements, Gears & Rust is a sonic diary of a man rebuilding himself — one beat, one bar, one breath at a time.
