Ganesh (also spelled Ganesa or Ganesha and known as Ganapati, Vinayaka and Pillaiyar) is the Lord of Good Fortune who provides prosperity, fortune and success. He is the Lord of Beginnings and the Remover of Obstacles of both material and spiritual kinds. Interestingly, he also places obstacles in the path of those who need to be checked.
Because of these attributes, Ganesh is widely revered by almost all castes and in all parts of India, regardless of any other spiritual affiliations. His image is found everywhere, in many different forms, and he is invoked before the undertaking of any task. Ganesh is also associated with the first Chakra, or energy wheel, which underpins all of the other Chakras and represents conservation, survival and material well-being. He is considered to be a patron of the arts and sciences and of letters. Devotees believe that if Ganesha is worshiped, he grants success, prosperity and protection against adversity. In a lesser known role, Ganesh is also the destroyer of vanity, selfishness and pride.

This EP is a celebration of the people and culture of Kerala, India.
Taking inspiration from Kadhakali and the beats of chenda, this is an amalgamation of the traditional pachavadhyam and electronic music.
When I was at a traditional festival dedicated to Goddess Bhadrakali in Kerala, I got to experience the divine feminine energy and the inspiration I derived from that experience is reflected in this album.
The last track Oppees is a funeral track. It is a tribute to our beloved Sanjay who left us from the dance floor in 2024. Thalam, melam, aarambham!

It is with great pleasure that we present our new compilation
Operation Midnight Climax compiled by Grainripper. With the
combination of different rhythms, patterns, styles, and, speed you
get a full pack of the Darkpsy experimental experience. To
understand how the roots of the psychedelic movement were
implanted for the first time in our culture, we invite you to take a
deeper look at the story behind Operation Midnight Climax.
Operation Midnight Climax is a top-secret mind-control program, in
which CIA operatives began dosing civilians with hallucinogenic drugs
to study the effects of LSD on unconsenting individuals. In the mid50s, CIA agents were assigned to run two “safe houses” for LSD
testing in Ney York & San Francisco. They distributed LSD, knockout
drops, and marijuana to the “guests” using food, drinks, and
cigarettes. Sex workers on the CIA payroll were used to lure clients to
the safehouses where they were secretly given a wide range of
hallucinogenic drugs. After 14 years of an Ex-CIA, agent wrote a
report about Operation Midnight Climax.
“It would become supreme irony that the CIA’s enormous search for
weapons among drugs would wind up helping to create the
wandering, uncontrollable minds of the counterculture."
