Portsmouth native, Gregg Holmes, professionally known as Fingerman, is arguably the edit king in his own right. His thumb print signature can be found on works by DiscoDat, ChopShop, Chewy Records, Hot Digits Music (his own label), We Mean Disco!!, the legendary Hotbox Boogie, Wall of Fame LTD, Re- Loved & Midnight Riot. 

Kongisto had this to say about the mix: 'This collab is long-awaited, Gregg and I have been talking for months about this, to see it come to fruition is unreal. Dropping edits alongside Fingerman is a dream come true, I brought my A-game, I really hope that it's audible.

Edition 016 see's us bring forth Belfast based, Brighton native, Hot Digits label boss and long time inspiration to us - Fingerman.

Gregg Holmes aka Fingerman has been one of the most dedicated re-edit masters to our knowledge. Since our inception as a little gathering in the upstairs of Shoreditch boozer 8 years ago, we have avidly collected his reworks, re-edits and more recently his newer original productions on his label.  Without a shadow of a doubt, he had a profound effect on us at the beginning of our foray into playing Disco - introducing us to a barrage of old music, previously unknown to us, all touched by his masterful style creating extensions and more DJ friendly versions of some classic tracks and lesser known rarities which are either hard to get hold of, or lets face it, just a pain in the arse to mix due to live drum and percussive elements on the original recordings.

His work is regularly praised for by two of the most influential figures within the edit scene - Dimitri From Paris & Greg Wilson (who has consecutively charted Fingerman edits on his Credit To The Edit blog for the past 5 years - and even released a few on his A&R edits imprint)

Over the years, we've kept an attentive ear to Gregg's sounds and have witnessed the development from his early days up until the present, its been a great process to listen to and also watch reactions to his material on the dancefloor too, having witnessed the man himself play on the same stage at us at Locomotive Disco in London and also for his mammoth annual street party in Brighton for Pride Festival with the Get Down Edits guys & Jay Ru (check his Soundcloud for the extended recordings of these events)
