The Sri Rudram is an ancient Indian hymn focusing on Rudra aka Shiva. The hymn is extracted from the Yajurveda (c. 1200-1000BCE), the 2nd in the four-part vedic series. 

The mantras in part I of the Rudram are characterized by repetitive "namos" which translates as 'in the name of' after which several synonyms of Rudra are given.

*Nam* is a word of Indo-European origin, and can be simply interpreted as "name." Namaste, for example, literally means bowing to you, or to your name.

At 18:04 the Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra (death-conquering mantra) is recited which originates from the Rig Veda C. 1500 BCE.
