The result of what would be my first virtual jam session spanning continents! :) Always had this song from Raanjhana on my to-do list back at IIMB, glad that we could do this finally, although after college!! Privileged to team up with the amazingly talented Monika. (check out her various harmonizations with the main vocals)

Had as much fun arranging the various layers of music and vocals together as much as synthesizing them independently! Finally a serious attempt to recreate a full song from scratch!

It was lovely to have Nagesh come over the other day for a long overdue jam session! It was wonderful to do some impromptu Kishore numbers which Nagesh with his Kishore-like voice pulled off so well!


Mere Sapno Ki Rani Feat. Nagesh

Experimenting with a couple of small instruments I bought recently - melodica and maracas. Tried the instrumental portion of Yeh Jo Des Hai Tera that comes at the end of the song substituting the shehnai with melodica with strings in the background which is the soul of the song!

My first attempt at an orchestral piece on my new midi controller keyboard :) . This starting theme from the movie Lakshya has about 4 octaves of strings section, a bit of trombones and I added some choir section towards the end to provide some crescendo.
