This is a very nice biography of Sangeetha Rathna Mysore T Chowdiah, produced Vidwan S. Krishnamurthy (grandson of Sangeetha Shastra Visharadha Mysore Vasudevacharya). Many excerpts from live recordings of Shri Chowdiah both as a soloist and an ideal accompaniest. You will excerpts from concerts with Chembai, Madhura Mani Iyer, as well as tributes from great vidwans Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer, Prof Mysore V Ramarathnam, Prof T.N. Krishnan, Shri T.S. Parthasarathy, etc. Towards the end you are treated to a very nice Sahana raga and Tyagaraja's composition Giripai in slow tempo. It iis really well produced and is worth listening several times.
