Release Promo Review

Following up their excellent first release with Kamilo Sanclemente, Skanda Records presents a new single from Srinivas & Armaan. Based in India, Srinivas Rao aka Srinivas first came to our attention in 2015 with releases via Electronic Tree and Low Pressings, before going on to land projects with Balkan Connection, Bonzai Progressive and PHW Elements across the next three years. Although relatively quiet in recent years, Srinivas returns in a big way alongside newcomer and fellow countryman Armaan with a new single entitled 'Querida'. 

The creative synergy between Srinivas & Armaan comes across with great strength as the duo marry warm, free flowing grooves with cross cultural motifs and emotive melodies. Highlighting the concise six minute journey is the distinctive Dilruba, a soulful sounding, bowed Indian instrument which comes off quite transcendent here. Expertly juxtaposed with fluttery melodic concepts, it makes for a unique and enlightening dance floor experience that should send people home with a smile. An excellent second release for Skanda Records who have gotten their journey off to a great start. Highly recommended.

Stúdiónk nem tétlenkedik az év első napján elkezdtük a termelést,bár lehet,hogy még a szilveszter hatása alatt voltunk mert aki elkezdi meghallgatni 2022 első megjelenését az hozzon magával szánkót és úszógumit,sí pulóvert és fürdő nacit. A mix az úgy tekereg jobbra balra meg fel meg le,hogy a sarki fénytől a pálmafákig minden életérzés ránk törhet.Hatalmas szívvel és energiával vetettük bele magunkat,bár nem pénteken csináltuk de Robinson barátom is azt mondta ilyenben még nem volt része!Egy igazi utazás az egész,és remélem az év kezdet nektek is tetszeni fog.


Our studio is not idle We started production on the first day of the year, although we may have been under the influence of New Year's Eve because whoever starts listening to the first release of 2022 will bring a sledge and a swimsuit, a ski sweater and a bathing nazi. The mix scrolls from right to left up and down so that every feeling of life, from the polar light to the palm trees, can break through us. We threw ourselves into it with a huge heart and energy, although we didn’t do it on Friday but my friend Robinson said he hadn’t been a part of it yet! It's a real journey and I hope you enjoy the start of the year.
