It's a pleasure for us to welcome @JacopoLatini in our podcast series!

Grew up in Bologna and settled in Berlin, Jacopo shaped his style finding an excellent balance between the Italian musical influence and the Berlin musical environment. 

Jacopo sets his sights firmly on a year of pushing his productions, via his own Taboo imprint, and already in the pipeline the inaugural release of Mood Waves. He's also half of @DataMemoryAccess, a duo composed by him and Giammarco Orsini.

Next on the tape is the Ice Queen - Thorgerdur Johanna! 

Thorgerdur actually starting out as a classical pianist who later turned found her hand in Electronic music.

And thank fuck she did! 

She is now known for her grade 8 style effortless blends of electronic music and running blossy with her partner A:G.

Thorgerdur shared the decks with the likes of Laurine, Z@p, Lamache, Margaret Dygas, Ethel & Melody, Sugar Free.

And now brings us Episode 39 of the ever glowing and growing Albion Tapes.

Having met Maksim in person and experienced him play for the first time two years ago at Music Week in Miami (2018) he stayed on our radar ever since and his journey has been nothing but fascinating, both as a producer and as a DJ as well as a person. In possession of a fascinating power to dark humour and sarcasm one could even guess he is English but this adorable creature is a Russian based in NYC. With roots going from Arma 17 traveling all the way to currently being the resident at the Resolute parties. 

With that said we invited him to take part in our music series and he very kindly recorded this during isolation in his home in NYC. A very strong set,  traveling through a more old school choice of records.
