Here is another track that I recorded also in 2008. I had been playing guitar around two years at the time. The drums are just the "Rock V2" drum track in the Boss MicroBR, which I used to make the recording.  I have since changed the drum track to include more fills and such and might upload it as well in some future date.

This song was recorded directly into the Boss MicroBR. It was a bunch of chords playing along with the keyboards on this Genesis cover.  

Turn It On Again (Guitar Cover of Genesis' Song)

Here is my cover of Soundgarden's "Fell On Black Days" using the Hal Leonard Soundgarden Backing track from the Soundgarden Guitar Play Along. Unfortunately, the damn Boss MicroBR recorder would not record in stereo for some reason.  It was fun using my Zakk Wylde Wah Pedal for the first time.

Here is a practice performance of some Jazz Blues on Guitar. I used instruction from a Bebop course and some of my own original licks. It is limited to Mixolydian mode in F, Bb, and C only. It was fun.

I experimented with using my Boss MicroBR's built in micophone. It made the quality of the recording much better in my opinion. I used a Gibson Flying V and a Fender Super Champ XD. The Backing Track is a Hal Leonard Blues Classics Guitar Play-Along.

I am just a guy who started playing guitar late in life once he found out he could no longer hang out at the gym all day. I always wanted to play the guitar even as I took my 3 years of piano lessons back when I was 12 years old. Almost 30 years later, I bought a MIM Strat and a Fender FM212 and started playing. I love 80's metal and some 90's Metal/Grunge, Blues, Jazz, Pop - just about any genre with good guitar playing and beat.  I plan to eventually jam with other musicians once my life is not quite so busy with family and work. That day may never come because most of us have one shot in our youth and that's it.  I had my shot and did other things so now I want to salvage what time is left if I can. Either way, I just love playing my guitar and learning new songs - and that by itself is rewarding. One day, I hope to be able to improvise freely like Jazz players do. That will take some time, if I ever get there.... For now, I will keep posting songs until the page is full, and will be posting some more Jazz and Blues as well as Hard Rock/Heavy Metal/Grunge.
