Joca got inspired to DJ after listening to Armin Van Buuren’s Essential Mix in 2003. Having been listening to Trance since 2000 and the likes of Tiesto, Armin and Ferry Corsten, he wanted to play the trance they did to his local trance lovers. Within a year he secured his first gig playing melodic and uplifting trance and progressive house.

For seven years he was a stable in Victoria and Vancouver trance and progressive house scene having played alongside Sharam, Andy Moor and Ferry Corsten. After some time off he’s returned to DJ’ing with his Chasing The Vibe mix series on Beach Radio. His sound has matured into melodic deep and progressive house thanks to countless hours listening to his DJ influencers Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J and Cid INC. His mixes are sure to take you on a journey of deep, melodic and progressive house music.

Helping me Draw The Line, this week, with her guest mix in the second hour, it’s DJ Lodzikovsky who’s based in Egypt. She learnt to DJ in 2018 under the guidance of DJ duo Enrico Velos and Salama Roh. Since then she’s established herself as a presence on the Egyptian music scene and has performed with the best DJs in Egypt at Coco Loco Beach Club in Hurghada. She’s appeared at the leading clubs in Egypt and organized her own events at the Four Season Nile Plaza in Cairo. She owns her own label, Lodzikovsky Records, releasing music by talented Egyptian and overseas artists. Her style is Tribal House, Deep House, Organic House & Indie Dance.

Lodzikovsky's extraordinary musical journey began during her middle school years, marked by an escape into the realm of techno at just 14. The pivotal year of 2014 saw a life-changing decision to immerse herself in Egyptian Pop music, driven by the influence of luminaries like Amr Diab, Mounir, and Elissa. She took a leap of faith, relocating to Egypt to live her passion.

In 2018, her stage career commenced, as she honed her skills under the mentorship of the talented DJ duo "The Ancient Spirit" (Enrico Velos and Salama Roh) in El Khema Hurghada. Her aspiration was not only to become a fixture on Egypt's music scene but also to share the stage with the nation's top DJs. This ambition became a reality in 2022 when she opened for illustrious artists such as Al Sharif Mahlab, Arrab, Shika Saber, Doze, and Carlos at the iconic Coco Loco, Makadi Egypt.

Presently, Lodzikovsky has embarked on a new chapter with 'Lodzikovsky Records,' her own music label. This label serves as a platform for her original compositions and introduces the world to emerging talents from Russia and Egypt. Her musical repertoire spans various genres, including Tribal House, 80's Remixes, Deep House, Techno, Indie Dance, and After Life, ensuring a captivating and diverse auditory experience for her global audience.

Leonardo Barboza began his journey with the BRZ project in 2015, exploring the House Music trends in São Paulo clubs such as Flexx Club and The Week. In 2016, he began a major stage in his career, starting a music production course at Anhembi Morumbi University, where he expanded his knowledge within the universe of the electronic music scene in São Paulo. His productions and research continued into the House, Italo Disco, Techno, Nu Disco and Indie Dance, Breakbeat and Electro trends. During college, he felt the need to have a space where his creativity and experiences could be expressed in a more genuine and light-hearted way, alongside people with the same ideologies and musical tastes, and so Dashboard was born. In 2021, his productions gained momentum when he released his first track FEARS at V.A BERKANA and in 2022 his first EP Cycles released by the label Under Division Records, with premieres by HATE Collective and support from Amelie Lens. He currently continues with his projects within the scene and allows himself to explore new atmospheres and musical genres.

Modeplex has developed a very personal way to compose, where different musical genres and scenes are the perfect ingredients to give birth to a wholesome kind of techno and deep house.

He takes inspiration from life situations, events happened in his past or anticipated for his future and condenses all those emotions to experiment with different sounds and recordings. That's the reason why he's able to create songs that convey genuine feelings. Each track created by Modeplex has to have a deep sense of character and soul. That's why he applies a vast number of ideas, emotions and algorithms to his creative process. Nima Sarshar was born in 1997 in Tehran (Iran) He started his music career & djing at the age of 18. LØDZIKØVSKY is a Polish electronic music artist based in Egypt for the past 11 years, where she draws inspiration from the dunes of Dahab, ancient temples, Bedouin caravans, and Red Sea desert mysticism. Her sound fuses Slavic folk motifs with oriental rhythms, creating a new signature style in the global scene — emotionally charged, hypnotic, and rooted in cinematic storytelling.

Releasing new tracks every week on leading international labels, Lodzikovsky has quickly become one of the most prolific producers in the region. Her latest release, Carawan to Siwa (Original Mix) on Camel VIP Records, reflects her deep connection with Egyptian landscapes and nomadic culture.
