2016 was a turning point for me, I moved out for the first time, I acquired my first laptop computer, I started studying, but most importantly, one day, in a random swing of events : "Motion Blur" by Noisia started playing on my browser. And that moment froze my brain like it rarely happens, you must know the feeling, this kind of explosion of flavors that leaves you hanging. I was contemplating all these doors I had never thought about. They were wide open. That initialized an obsessive chapter of my life, I spent months, years pulling my hair : "How can I get to this level of purity?". From trying to understanding the tools, to looking for myself in the middle of that, time got significantly faster. And today I’m sitting here, writing this with the feeling that I cracked it now : all I wanna do is to tell my story. Noisia is the singularity that allowed me to express myself.

Their music and ways of thinking always has been, and still is, nothing but an inspiration. They also are some of the nicest and most interesting humans to spend time with. To contribute a remix to their last Noisia release installment not just felt like paying homage to their sound, but especially felt emotionally charged to me; somewhat like a „closing bracket“ for Noisia & Phace ventures. When Nik and I talked end of last year all ways led me to pick „The Hole Pt.1“ to vibe on. The original track is such a great example of going „all the way“ with a musical idea. It’s never easy to remix Noisia; it always feels like their music can not be touched. So I went down a different more melancholic alley with my interpretation, trying to create a mood that felt like falling into a deep hole pictured through my eyes. I got nothing but love and respect to them and I am looking very much forward to see what the future will hold for them, but also for our friendship. Without them, I would have missed so much.
