I had the best time at Tomorrowland first weekend on Saturday afternoon, playing my favorite music and some upcoming stuff from my label @marginalialabel 🪼🪼🪼

With incredible hospitality, very nice details everywhere and crazy production of course, Tomorrowland definitely lives up to the reputation.

It was a very emotional and special moment to see the Turkish flags 🥹🇹🇷 and I honestly didn’t expect to have such an amazing crowd at 4pm in the afternoon ❤️ What a beautiful surprise 🙌🏻 And listening to the set after and being able to hear all the support and joy from the crowd just brought me back to this unforgettable moment, gave me goosebumps and I'm very happy to share it with you!

Beyond the incredible venue, production, and beautiful collection of humans, there were three things that made set this extra special for me: opening the room to an empty dance floor, having the DJ booth in the center of the room, and playing the most original music I’ve played in a set. 

I rarely get to build a room from zero anymore, so I took great pleasure in playing records early on that are subtler, slowly building tension as people trickled into the venue. Having the booth in the center made it much easier for me to sense what the people sonically needed as the night progressed - we all were locked in for the last hour. 

I also blended the ambient room sounds with the mixer output capture the spirit of the night. You’ll hear the excitement of the crowd match the energy crescendo. When I listen to the set, it almost feels like I’m transported back to the party. 

It a very special gig, and I’m grateful to Robot Heart for having me play.

Kora is the musical project of Mikael B Robillard, a planet Earth citizen with his family tree rooted in Québec, Canada. From childhood tunes with Grandma to co-founding the Saisons Musique label & collective, Mikael's journey is a testament to music's power to unite. With extended DJ sets at his Stereo Montréal residency and performances on global stages in many corners of our beautiful planet, Kora's sound is a tale of passion and purpose.

Kora has performed worldwide alongside renowned artists and remixed tracks for Ludovico Einaudi, Mercan Dede, Poranguí, Husa & Zeyada, and others who inspire him. While the esteemed Berlin-based artist, DJ and Stil vor Talent label-owner Oliver Koletzki can look back onto an impressive career since his 2005 debut release ‘Der Mückenschwarm’ on Sven Väth’s Cocoon, he challenges the status quo with every single new production and set, drawing from an ever-evolving plethora of styles and moods. Inspired by his extensive travels around the globe, which have taken him from the deserts of Burning Man, Rainbow Serpent and Coachella to the beaches of Tulum, Tel Aviv, Ibiza and beyond, Oliver’s output shines with the maturity of an artist at the top of his game and the playfulness of a youthfully curious mind.
