‘IT WAS ALWAYS ME’ is ssjayl’s third independent album. He created this project with his mind and soul, producing 10/10 tracks with a mainstream sound. Although it may be his shortest album, he speaks about his life and how he wishes he made better choices in the past. The young artist was able to move in a different path due to changes in his life the first couple months of 2023. He said, “I think that God makes everything happen for a reason, so I appreciate everything that has happened for me, but I know I deserve more in life. Making this album really helped me with my problems and showed me a different outlook of life. This project means the world to me and I hope it does for my fans too.”
