The Original Solid Sound Studios was opened in January of 1989 in Whippany, NJ. Solid Sound started out as 2 rehearsal rooms for local bands, and grew over time into first a 16 track, then 2 inch 24 track professional studio. Tim shut down the Studio in 1995 due to personal reasons. 
 After 20 long years, Tim is reopening Solid Sound as "SSN Studios" (Solid Sound North), located on beautiful Cape Cod in Massachusetts. 
The Studio now boasts a Digital Allen and Heath GSR24M Console with fully motorized faders, running off of Pro Tools 11 and Reason software. To be nostalgic, the studio also has its original 1/2 16 Track Analog Tape Machine as well as an MTR90II 2 Inch 24 Track Deck. Several pieces of vintage analog gear are in the mix as well as hundreds of digital plugins from Avid and Wave's Audio. See the Studio Website for more information.
