to be honest, i do have a HC for an AU (storyspin where sans is chara) where frisk is totally in control of all of their decisions, making the genocide run just apart of the grander neutral run because of the lack of differences with someone posessing frisk. but because of the lack of posession, the post-genocide runs accomodate for those changes. Why? as a result of sans' word and queen alphys trusting sans after studying DT far enough. these deja vus and timeline resets are backed up by sans, papyrus and chara who all remember, leading alphys to be astutely aware.

I like to think the way Alphys dies is similar to the FNAF 1 phone call. Imagine how terrifying it is being locked in with a horrifyingly powerful ball that basically stuffs you into somewhere a monster body shouldn't be able to fit, and just hearing Alphys screaming and pleasing for help over the intercom over Bobby's maniacal laughter
