Now we’ve got all that bragging out of the way let us accompany our unveiling of an fresh cut from Sean McCabe by presenting you the world premiere of the Ganzfeld Effect remix of Sugar Hill & Wasabi’s ‘It’s On You’. One half their new 2 cut remix package - the other being a rework from Purple Disco Machine – Manchester producer Ganzfeld Effect’s reimagining sees the classic M1 organ be placed centre stagew for a remix as happy moving a dancefloor as destroying the airwaves. Slated to arrive November 24 via Mark Knight’s esteemed Toolroom Records you can check out Ganfeld’s synth-driven remix of ‘It’s On You’ in it’s its foot stomping splendour now.

[Serious mode on] We’re still in the early stages of this journey we’re calling TKDJS, and while we’ve written a bunch of unreleased music, there’s still SO much we want to do. It’s not all bangers and looped beats...we’ve always wanted to make music that is lasting...that has feeling...that tells stories, and is written as a song, first and foremost.  This is the first record down that road for us, and we’re really proud of it.  

We teamed up with the incredibly creative, talented and just all around chill-dude AYER and wrote this song with him over two sessions.  Once in the lab and once in our hometown studio in Brooklyn. “Don’t Leave” is a story about meeting someone new...at a party, at a club, wherever your scene might take you, hitting it off and wanting to spend more time with that person. Unfortunately that’s not how it always ends up. If this has ever happened to you, you know what we mean.

Anyway, we think the track turned out pretty damn good. Give it a listen and hear for yourself.

Who are TKDJS - 2 out of 3 are true// 

1) While recording “Don’t Leave” we asked Ayer to sing 2 octaves higher, thinking he’d never be able to, but sure enough he did, and we actually used some of those cuts as accents in the finished track.
2) After every session we do Soulcycle and then Juice Press to sweat it out and decompress. Namaste bro. #kalefam
3) Our dream is to one day move to Bali for 6 months to surf and work on a full album.
