This song was written by Reuben in a great time of growth. Through seeing growth in his art, he decided to sit down and write this song to show this progress in a more formal and artistic fashion. He describes his process and the backstory behind the song, "I was seeing a lot of growth within my music, and I was starting to see how things were lining up. I wanted to translate that feeling into my music". Through this we were given "Set Free", an exceptional single written with a wonderful sample.
